Bibi Fadlalla’s documentary collage film, Father Figure, tells the story of how young, black, gay men experience frequent encounters of racism and marginalization. Guilliano, founder of The Kiki House of Angels, a Voguing community, recounts he and his friends’ personal experiences of homophobia and discrimination and how they find solace in the community. This film offers a variety of perspectives on this topic by including personal stories, dance sequences and interviews.
