Cooped Up! is a comedy by director Taylor Scipio about a newly acquainted couple who goes home after a costume party, one in a full body chicken costume and the other dressed as a vampire. The film functions as a satirical play on narrative tropes of self-acceptance and the acceptance of others, and the identities we can’t erase. This 14-minute film provides a lighthearted take on identity politics, and how we navigate identity in personal relationships. (Written by Torri Pelletier ‘20)
